THIRD RAIL ARTISTS
HAVE BEEN SUPPORTED BY THE FOLLOWING:

Third Rail Projects at The Merce Cunningham Studio (2001, 2003, 2005) were supported, in part, with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

Spun/Uktena (2001) was originally presented by The New York International Fringe Festival, a production of The Present Company.

Material for Screaming Shrubbery (2005) was supported, in part, with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and was developed at The Swarthmore Project, a residency for choreographers and dancers sponsored by Swarthmore College, Swarthmore, PA. Material for Screaming Shrubbery was also developed while in residence at The Great Neck House, Great Neck, NY

REEL (2005) was funded by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Sitelines series, the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, and Third Rail Projects with support from private donors. REEL was presented by LMCC, NMAI and American Express's River to River Festival 2005. REEL was also made possible by Materials for the Arts/New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and Department of Sanitation. Material for REEL was created while in residence at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's MOVE: 133 Beekman in space generously provided by General Growth Properties, Inc.

Lacuna (2006) was originally commissioned by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. for Lincoln Center Out of Doors and was made possible in part by a Harkness Space Grant from the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center. Lacuna also received support from The Lucky Star Foundation. Lincoln Center Out of Doors is sponsored by Bloomberg and PepsiCo Inc. with additional generous support from foundations, corporations, individuals and government agencies.

Rub the Sleep (2007) was created for La Mama ETC’s 2007 La Mama Moves Festival. Third Rail gratefully acknowledges La Mama’s support for the creation, rehearsal, and presentation of this work.

Hope & Anchor (2006) was commissioned and produced by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Sitelines Series and made possible by the generous support of our private and public donors including the Lucky Star Foundation, Materials for the Arts/New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and Department of Sanitation, and LMCC's Swing Space program. Sitelines is presented by LMCC in association with the River to River Festival. Third Rail and LMCC gratefully acknowledge the assistance and support provided by Shauna Gray, Julie Nicholasi, and the South Street Seaport Association. This work was made possible, in part, by Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art, supported by Jerome Foundation.

TREE (2007) and Finis Tere (2006) were made possible in part by grants from the Burning Man Art Festival/Black Rock City LLC and by support from Third Rail Projects with support from private donors.

Overlook (2007) was originally commissioned by the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, Ltd for the SWIRE Island East Urban Dance Festival 2007 in Hong Kong, sponsored by SWIRE Island East, SWIRE Properties. Overlook has been generously supported by a space grant/creative residency at La Mama ETC.

Zach Morris and Tom Pearson’s Danspace Project season 2008 is supported by an Outer/Space grant. Outer/Space is a program of Dance Theater Workshop and is supported in part, by JPMorgan Chase, and public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York City Council.
