Filmed by Kathleen Green. _________________________________________________ Screaming Shrubbery, or The Regrettable Naivete of Ms. Elanore Ghastlypants (2005) Created by Jennine Willett, Tom Pearson and Zach Morris. Drawing inspiration from thrillers, mystery novels and farce and set against the prudish backdrop of Edwardian Society, the piece moves at breakneck speed through macabre, nefarious and otherwise raucous episodes. Performed at The Merce Cunningham Studio, NYC. January 7-9, 2005. _________________________________________________ The Wallflower (2003) In this dance by Jennine Willett, five dancers perform to a musical collage of pre-war jazz from Lvov and by contemporary Polish artists. The short scenes unfolds as the performers interact over the course of a cocktail party, their relationships and idiosyncrasies revealed by the watchful eye of a wallflower. Performed at The Merce Cunningham Studio, NYC. May 10-11, 2003. _________________________________________________ Ceremony (2003) Through a multi-layered solo journery, choreographer and performer, Tom Pearson, maps out a hybrid-identity that reconciles notions of cultural heritage.
